Widgets

Widgets make it quick and easy for people to tell their friends about my books.

With widgets you just click a button and the widget gets shared through the channels that you already use to communicate--you don't need to think about what to say, just click. So for instance, if you live your life on Facebook or Twitter, then all you have to do is click the Facebook or Twitter button and you'll be taken straight to that site where the widget can be shared.

Not only does this make it easier to share with your friends, but you don't have to think about what you want to tell them. You can just embed the widget and they can find out about the book from there--all your friends have to do is follow the links. And if you run your own website or blog, it's simple to embed the widget there in the same way you might embed a YouTube video.

How to Use These Widget

If you want to tell your friends about one (or more of my books) then it's easy to use these widgets--just click on the share button (the green button in the bottom-right corner) and click on the button for the social network through which you want to share the widget. Then repeat for each network that you use.

Alternatively if you have your own website or blog and want to embed the widget there, you can copy the embed code. To do this:

  • click on the embed code (it's at the bottom of the widget under the social network buttons)
  • hit Ctrl+A (or Command+A if you're on a Mac) to select the code
  • hit Ctrl+C (or Command+C if you're on a Mac) to copy the code
  • paste the code you have just copied into your web page/blog.

And that's it!! Thank you for passing on the word.
